Some venues have specific requirements, restrictions or procedures that we need to be aware of in advance, so it’s always best to make them aware early and avoid any surprises on the day.

Yes, absolutely. In the lead-up to your event, we’ll contact both you and the venue to discuss the logistics and make sure everything is in place.
This is when we confirm the finer details with your coordinator, agree how everything will work on the day and provide any documentation they may require from us, such as PAT testing and Public Liability Insurance certificates.
That way, everyone knows exactly what to expect and the performance can fit seamlessly into the event.

The ideal timing depends on where your speeches sit in the running order.

If your speeches take place before the meal  (which is our preferred option), we usually begin as the final plates of dessert are being served or cleared. This means your guests are seated, relaxed and fully engaged and the show can begin without interrupting food service.

If your speeches take place after the meal, we’ll usually start on the final toast, creating a natural transition straight from the speeches into the surprise.

We’ll always discuss the timings with you and your venue in advance so the performance fits seamlessly into the flow of your day.

We like to keep the reveal simple, natural and completely positive.

We usually begin by raising a toast to the happy couple “on behalf of all the staff who have served you today” and from there, the surprise unfolds.

There are no fake falls, staged arguments or awkward amateur dramatics. The whole experience is designed to feel uplifting, professional and completely in keeping with the atmosphere of your celebration.

Every event is different, so we keep the performance time flexible.

Most Elite Singing Waiters™ shows naturally fall at around 45 minutes, although we usually allow up to one hour depending on the running order, the venue and how much audience interaction develops on the day.

We don’t work to a rigid stopwatch. The show is designed to feel natural and sometimes the room takes it in a slightly different direction.

We’ll always work around your timings and make sure the performance fits seamlessly into the flow of your event.

Not specifically. Unlike some Singing Waiter shows, we don’t ask you to choose the entire set list.

Our performances are carefully structured and each song is there to do a particular job, whether that’s building the energy, encouraging audience participation or creating a standout moment. We never include songs simply to fill time.

That said, we absolutely welcome your input. If there’s a song you love and it suits the show and your performers have it in their repertoire, they’ll usually be very happy to include it.

Likewise, if there’s a song you definitely don’t want performed, just let us know and we’ll make sure it’s avoided.

That way, you still have input into the music while allowing the performers to shape the set for the best possible show.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The right number of performers depends on the size of your event, the room, your guest numbers and the kind of atmosphere you want to create.
A single performer can work brilliantly for many events, while larger celebrations can benefit from two or more performers to help cover the room, create more interaction and build an even bigger atmosphere.

Choose Party Starter if you’d like us to return later in the evening for an additional live party set, building on the atmosphere and rapport we’ve already created with your guests.
