They completely blew us and our guests away. The atmosphere they created was incredible, and they really knew how to get everyone involved and up dancing!

  Probably the best thing I booked for our wedding! Charlie and Cliff were incredible. They arrived early in the day and blended in with the other staff, even walking round with trays collecting glasses which really made it a surprise! I've never seen a room erupt with such fun, singing and laughter like during their performance. It really bought the vibe to our wedding! Since the wedding we've had so many comments on how great they were and people have even said it was the best wedding they've ever been to! If you're unsure whether to book take this as your sign to do it! Best money i've ever spent! Thank you guys!

  Wow what an absolute sensation. From the moment Cliff walked in as if he was just part of the serving team, every guest was completely taken in. The build up was perfect and when they burst into song, the room erupted. Cliff's voice was incredible, his energy infectious, everyone clapping, cheering, dancing and singing along. Cliffs performance was polished and professional, he got everyone involved and turned the wedding breakfast into one huge party. So many guests told us it was the highlight of their day, people are still talking about it.  My only regret is we didnt hire you for the evening reception. Thank you for bringing such fun and magic to our wedding, You absolutely blew us away, i scored brownie points with the hubby too, always a bonus, We would recommend you to anyone without hesitation.   We honestly cannot recommend Surprise Performers Chris and Russ enough! They were absolutely fantastic and made our wedding at the Village Hotel even more special.

From the moment they started performing, they created such an incredible atmosphere. They worked the room brilliantly, got everyone involved and had the whole wedding party up on their chairs dancing — even my 93-year-old Nan! 🥰❤️

They had everyone laughing, singing and joining in, and they really knew how to read the room and get the party going. Chris and Russ were such a huge part of the atmosphere on the day and created a moment that everyone is still talking about.

Our wedding was such a special day for us, and they helped create memories that we’ll never forget. They went above and beyond and were the perfect surprise entertainment.

  I’m a month after my wedding (apologies for the delay) and people are still talking about you guys…. Typical conversation.
“What a wonderful day, fantastic food, thank you for inviting us, but those singing waiters, wow, they were unbelievable, I did wonder what was going on,  but they were amazing, absolutely loved them, what lovely guys, amazing voices”. If you're considering booking the Elite Host Package with Surprise Shows, do it – it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

From the very beginning, the attention to detail was outstanding. The team took the time to get to know us as a couple, learning about our story, our families, and the little details that mattered to us. Russel remembered everything and included so many personal touches throughout the day, making it feel completely unique to us rather than a standard performance.

His singing was absolutely incredible, but what really sets Russell apart is his ability to connect with people. He had guests of all ages laughing, singing, dancing, and genuinely feeling part of the celebration. He created such a warm, fun atmosphere, and it felt like he'd known our family and friends for years.

  Cliff and Russ were amazing at our wedding on Sunday.  Our guests were gobsmacked by them, they were so much fun and had everyone up dancing and singing.  Cliff was so good at fitting in to the waiter role, no one  guessed he was ‘fake’ and were asking for water.

  After a very successful event in 2025 we decided to use Surprise Shows again for our 2026 event!! So glad we did... from booking it was nice and easy, and had so many ideas. Cliff and Russ were brilliant - they had everyone fooled - they even had so many requests during dinner service our passengers genuinely thought they were hotel staff, they got everyone up waving their napkins, singing along and the amount of feedback we have had has been brilliant!!

  Great energy, good song choice and got all the audience involved, but not inclusive at all in terms of language use and jokes - I would look elsewhere for your wedding or event if you are an LGBTQ+ couple or are non-white British to ensure that you and your guests do not feel uncomfortable. This was a shame as, despite this, in terms of the entertainment and talent itself, it was great!

  We had Charlie as our elite wedding host and from start to finish he was absolutely brilliant,  nothing was too much trouble even helping give out confetti to our guests, and what a fantastic master of ceremonies & then came the surprise singing show, just Wow what a voice! After a wonderful wedding breakfast they took over and provided us with a surprise performance that everyone will be talking about for years to come. They blended the humour and audience participation perfectly and OMG can they sing!!! They exceeded our expectations and got everyone involved so quickly. We can't praise them highly enough.  recommends ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Darren and Maurice, were an absolute highlight of our wedding day and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment they arrived, they seamlessly blended into the event as regular waitstaff, serving guests with professionalism and attentiveness. However, when the final plate was cleared, they suddenly transformed, standing up on chairs and making a surprise toast to the bride and groom.
In a brilliant bit of improvisation, they claimed this was one of their "last days" and felt compelled to say a few words. Their playful and engaging toast had all of our guests captivated, laughing, and eagerly participating. It was such an unexpected and delightful moment that truly made our wedding day exceptional.
Darren and Maurice's ability to entertain and involve the entire room was remarkable. They had everyone on their feet, creating an incredible energy and atmosphere that will be remembered by all. Several guests commented that this was the most fun and memorable part of the reception.
I would highly recommend booking Darren and Maurice for any event where you want to surprise and delight your guests. Their talents as servers combined with their skills as performers make them the perfect choice to make your special day truly unforgettable. Speechless!! Cannot tell you how much our guests and us enjoyed having these guys at our wedding, right from the start Charlie was there to get us through the whole day,  our wedding was said by all our guests the best they’ve ever been to! The entertainment they provided was outstanding getting everyone involved, Carl and Jason were brilliant tricking the guests into thinking they were really bad at their jobs as waiters and then straight into song!  recommends We had our wedding 3 weeks ago and they were absolutely amazing, they were just the same as all the other waiting on staff and nobody suspected anything. My daughter asked them to assist her with a high chair and warm the baby’s bottle. She apologised later 😂, that’s how much they blended in. 

They absolutely made our day with the Backstreet Bury Boys and the ladies conga, everyone had the opportunity to join in!

Everyone enjoyed the show, it was amazing because wedding receptions are usually quite boring and they certainly livened it up!

  We booked with surprise shows 18 months before our wedding and it was the hardest secret to keep !
Charlie was out of this world and We all had an absolute blast !
He blended in so well when he was undercover clearing tables and bringing food and drinks out to our guests everyone was so shocked when he started the show and explained after we had hired him to surprise them all!
He could not do enough for us even helped gather people together for photos .
If anyone is thinking of booking surprise shows please do it ! Cut back on something else and make these guys a must !
We chose for Charlie to stay to start off our evening reception and he did an amazing job of filling the dance floor for us!

 recommends We booked the elite singing host package for our wedding on the 9th August 2024. We were absolutely blown away with Cliff and everything he brought to the day. Not just with the amazing show but getting involved in the day from start to finish to assisting with photos and interacting with guests it was perfect for what we wanted.

They listened to what songs we did and didn’t want and it got the whole room up singing and dancing.

I couldn’t recommend them more!

  Brilliant! We weren't sure what to expect when we booked the Elite Singing Host package but it was more than we had expected and just what we wanted.   The toast masters were absolutely incredible. The entertainment was top class from start to finish. All the guests were thoroughly entertained and they started the party, we didnt want it to end.
They both got a real buzz and atmosphere going, worked fantastically well together, comedy duo.   We would highly recommend them if you want your wedding to stand apart from many others. They were funny, engaging, talented and can really sing. One of the best parts of the day, and worth every penny

  These guys deserve more than 5 stars!! I highly recommend Surprise Shows Ltd. Darren and Maurice were in contact with us during the booking & nothing was too much for them, always prompt on replying to any questions we had. We had Chris and Charlie to entertain us and that’s exactly what they done!! They were absolutely brilliant! All of our guests commented on this. From making everyone laugh with their entrance and throughout their performance to getting everybody out of their seats dancing, waving napkins etc to kick off the evening, it was just amazing.  recommends I had the pleasure of working along side Carl and Jason yesterday at a wedding at the last drop village and omfg WHAT an amazing duo!

Had everyone up dancing and laughing  (even me with my sore throat!) and everyone was entertained by them! Ive seen my fair share of singing waiters/entertainments etc over 10 years and these guys defo rank top 3!!!!!!

  I honestly cant find the words to say how amazing CLIFF was at our wedding! He was an absolute show stopper and literally had our guests eating out the palm of his hand after his first word! He was funny, engaging, energetic and genuinely cared about making sure us as the bride and groom and our guests had the best of times! Honestly? the list of his qualities are endless! Nobody had a clue and so many guests commented afterwards how they had interacted with both throughout the day and were none the wiser. They intergrated themselves seamlessly throughout the day and that really did add to the suprise element!

I will never ever forget the feeling I had when I looked around and saw so many people that I love happy, smiling and having a genuinely great time. My children want to do the 'napkin dance' as it's now known in our house every dinnertime 🤣.   I had seen the singing waiters at a friends wedding and loved them. I booked them as a surprise for my friend’s birthday party. They were fabulous and several guests plus the birthday girl said they made the night.  They put so much energy into what they were doing it was fabulous. Definitely worth adding to your night and surprising a friend or family member. A review can’t convey what they bring really, I think you need to experience that.

  Where to start with Cliff and Charlie? Wow, those guys know how to start a party. They blew everyone away on Friday at our wedding and we are still getting messages about how brilliant they were 4 days on!

They blended in so well that some of our guests thought they were taking over the limelight with their introduction and then boom, everyone was up dancing and singing straight away!

  We had Carl and Jason at our wedding on 22/07/23 and they were absolutely incredible. They were all anyone could talk about (even before they revealed themselves!) Nobody expected a thing but even as ordinary waiters they made memories for people and were getting little stories throughout the afternoon. The moment they started singing, everyone was up on their feet, joining in and singing along. There was not a single who was not absolutely loving in. They made the entire evening for us and set the mood for the rest of the reception as people were ready to continue dancing once their incredible set had finished. They were a hard secret to keep for sure, but so worth it. It helped make my dream day even more of a dream and as both myself and my husband were quite anxious after the speeches, their set alone completely took away any anxiety, completely relaxed us and we were loving every minute.  We could not recommend surprise shows ltd enough. Not only were they incredible on the day, but they were incredible in the lead up with so much great advice. Could not imagine my wedding without them. Thank you so much.

  We had our wedding on the 1st of July 2023. Brilliant singing waiters made our wedding a fantastic day and evening. Nobody had any idea that they were there, such a laugh and involved everybody, even having the kids singing. They lifted the whole day everyone went home talking about them and how great it was, the staff and management at the hotel commented on how amazing they were.   Cliff and Charlie performed at our wedding at Tyn Dwr Hall in North Wales  a few weeks ago and we were so impressed!
They blended in seamlessly with the other staff at the venue (my husband even asked one of them to open a window) which added to the surprise when they finally revealed themselves.
Our guests were so surprised and so entertained with their set. Both had fantastic voices and were also great entertainers. We are so glad we booked them for our day and have had nothing but amazing comments since.

  We had our wedding day on the 20.10.2022 at The Villa Wrea Green. Myself and the Groom booked the singing waiters as a Surprise for our guests.
Carl and Jason where fantastic! They get our wedding breakfast guests on their feet (chairs) dancing and singing. All our guests have complimented them on how amazing they where and even some have gone away to book them!
If you are thinking of booking singing waiters I would 100% recommend that you do!
Fantastic company and absolutely brilliant guys!
